I love chocolate and I love cheesecake so my favorite recipe in "hungry girl" is chilly chocolate cheesecake nuggets. I really need to win the $1000.00 grocery prize. I have been laid off five jobs in 2 1/2 years and many days I go without food.

What are you Hungry for?
Today is a new day, a new year, did you know that 10 is the number for new beginnings?
Most people spent last night or are starting to today to think about the changes they
may want to make in their lives and the things they should remove from their diets, time
or lives. This sometimes causes alot of pressure as we think we need to think of "something"
and sometimes the changes we intend to make don't even make it till tomorrow. Why is this,
why do we sometimes set ourselves up for failure and of course without really meaning to?.
Why do we beat ourselves up over the yesterdays and what we didn't do, why do we look at
the tomorrows and say how am I gonna do this for that long? Today is YOUR new beginning,
today is the only day you can do anything about. Instead of thinking about what should be
removed from your life, what negative thing we should focus on changing. Try thinking of
something "good" that you can add to your life. By adding the good thing this becomes the
positive change that could very well eliminate the negative thing from your life,. You see by
focusing on adding a rewarding goal or task or item to your life you can very well remove the
time or space that the "bad" or negative thing was taking up. What is it you desire for the New
Year? What can you do today that will work towards obtaining or achieving that desire?
What is it you are hungary for? Is it like many to get in shape or be healthier or to be more
organized? Is it to be a better parent, spouse or loved one? Is it to see positive change in
your home, life or neighborhood? Whatever it is - focus on one thing you can do today, even
if it is just making a list to follow for tomm. that is the one thing you can do today. If it is to
be more patient then take a deep breath before you speak or act and look at your child or
loved one in the eye and see how valuable they truly are and then treat them like you only
have today to give them.....well because thats it, you do only have control over one thing
and that is how you will choose to "live" in this day, today. So I ask again what are you hungary
for in 2010? Today is 2010, today is it, now do it one thing at a time, choose to do it with
all your heart and when this day is done you will have truly lived today and you will be fully
satisfied and ready to face the next and then your tomorrow will become your today and you
will have added so much to your life that the negative things will have been removed simply
by focusing on your hunger and the good things that you do in your today!
Happy New Year - Happy New Beginning and may each of you take a moment to realize
God truly cares about you and loves you. If you start your day with Him asking Him to
order your steps and then to be with you as you take each one of them, you will find the
day is lighter as He carries the loads you give Him.
