I replace ground beef with ground turkey. My family never even notices the difference & I feel better about what I'm feeding my family!

I sneak vegetables into most everything (we've even made ice cream with vegetables snuck in and noone knew except for me :P ) We also use applesauce in cake mixes to replace some of the oil that's called for.
We use a lot of Nonfat soy flavored milks, applesauce when baking, lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Lean Lean Lean cuts of meat. Baked, not fried alternatives, veggie pastas (gluten free), egg whites where possible, low fat yogurts with fresh fruit for desserts. Just heart healthy better alternatives for my family of 7.
I feed my family food that has been disguised as unhealthy. Burgers with ground turkey, fries that are baked sweet potatoes and lots of fun vegetables.
I always incorporate at least 2 veggies into every meal. Sometimes we have veggie night with no meat. I also search for low calorie recipes at my favorite recipe site recipezaar.com. Thanks!
