It is so hard to pick out a favorite part of Gone With the Wind. I think at the dance when Scarlett has been widowed and is dancing under the table is great though and then Rhett bids on her to dance with him and the crowd is in shock!

When Rhett says - No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.

She runs home to find Rhett packing to leave her, she begs him not to leave, telling him she realizes now that she had loved him all along, that she never really loved Ashley.
As Rhett walks out the door, she pleads, "Rhett, if you go, where shall I go? What shall I do?" He answers,
“ Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. ”

Has to be the curtain scene, but every time I watch it I think of the sketch parody that Carol Burnett did with the curtains still attached to the rod

To be honest I have to go with the rest the famous line that has carried through for years Frankly, my dear I don't give a D___!!! Beside that scene there are so many to choose from, that was best movie, one that you can pass down, I would LOVE to see this again and again with my kids and let them pass it down.

I like the entire movie. I used to watch this movie with my grandma growing up ,starting at 8-9 years old. When I would spend the night at her house, I would lay in bed with her and we'd watch old movies together and she'd tell me stories about her life when she was younger so for me, the movie holds special feelings. I like all the ones that everyone mentioned but also when Scarlett makes a vow to never go hungry again and of course when she makes a dress out of curtains! :)

I thought the part where goes goes home to Tara and finds her mother passed away was very emotional. She slowly realizes that she cannot continue to see life as if it had nothing to do with her.

I've read the book twice and seen the movie a number of times over the years. Still a classic, just so good.
