Thank you for your viewpoint on the blog about the veggie dog. I thought it was a bit over the top, the whole discussion.

It's pretty green out here. The weather is kinda crazy, but I've always liked it here. I've always wanted to live in Cali, but I think my husband wants to end up in Texas somewhere... I could settle for that for sure! :) The life of a coaches wife you tend to move around a lot. I don't mind it at all...it's fun. Where out east?

How is Missouri this time of year? We're the opposite, we hope to move east in the future. I grew up in California and I greatly miss it but the traffic is horrible and the prices of the homes are ridiculous so we'll stay put for at least another couple of years and then we might move. Do you have alot of green out there?

Oh wow. We live in Missouri. I would love to live out west. I think the guy was younger but you always wonder what people must be thinking. Toddlers are so much fun. :) I had to lol when I real the part about the luggage...I'm the same way!

Wow, sounds like he stays really busy! Yeah, I agree it's hard to have toddlers at the games, when my youngest was 2, my oldest was playing baseball and it was a pain in the butt going to the games, I had to pratically carry a luggage just to keep him busy the whole time! I can't believe that guy was so insensitive to say that, I wonder if he has any kids.. if they know what it's like having a little one and needing to be a supportive parent! Thanks for the good wishes, they are greatly appreciated. We live in Nevada, very very hot place here! It's starting to cool down, we're in the low 90's but it's still torturous.

He's the head basketball coach for 4a boys basketball. He also coaches jr. high football. When she was a little over a year old she jumped off the balcony at a basketball game. It was like a 4ft drop. Then one of my cheerleaders came over and said, "I was so mad at this guy casue when she fell he said, Give her the mother of the year award." Again I was mortified. You feel bad for being absent to their games, but it's just not the ideal place for toddlers, you know? Being a coaches wife is tough because they are gone all the time and the pay is not that great, but they are really happy and they will thank you for it later on. Tell your husband good luck. Where are you from?

Hello! I was just reading your response to the gifted child discussion and I came to ck your page. What does your hubby coach? My husband is working on getting his BA right now, he wants to be a jr. high coach. I relate to your story too about Baylee running into the middle of the game, my son did the same thing at my nephew's soccer game last year! I was terrified!
