Am I the only one that is torn by Michael Jackson's passing? Yes, he was an amazing performer and musician. He had the ability to entertain people across generations, cultures and economic barriers. But that is one side. His musical genius side.
What about MJ as a person? He was one strange dude! As a mother it is hard for me to look past his child abuse cases, the fact that he often held company with young boys, treating them as his equals. It's just not right.

Weight Loss UPDATE from Christina!
Hello Ladies!
Can you believe it's already week seven of my eight week fitness challenge. Thus far I am 13 pounds lighter. That was a lot of extra weight and right now I'm seven pounds shy of my goal of losing 20 pounds. I know that I can do it. Like I said, this lifestyle is not stopping after the eight weeks are up.
Remember it's never too late for you to start either! Each day is a new chance to get healthy.
Each day when I get up, I remember how excited I am that my pants DONT FIT. As in… Continue

dont sabatoge your diet!
i am in urgent need of a grocery store trip. i'm out of fruits, veggies, and everything else healthy. this is rule number one in dieting! if you dont have something healthy to reach for when you are in a pinch, you'll end up eating junk! trust me. i know!

ugh. friday night diet woes.
i need your encouragement ladies. i am having a hard time staying on the diet this evening. i'm at home right now and all the things that i am not supposed to eat are calling my name. the buttery ritz crackers are screaming for me. even the tub of chocolate frosting winked at me. i wish they made parent proof latches for the cabinet - not just baby proof latches.
i could get frozen yogurt, but who wants that when what you really want is a candy bar. just being honest ladies.
