I let them know as soon as I know, I dont want to sneak out then have them go looking for me and I am not there, so I let them know, they are okay with it since my sitter is usually my sister
I like my sitters to be trustworthy, I am leaving them with my kids, they are my life. Caring, if I am not there I like to know that if my daughter cries she's going to be coddled just like I would and responsible

I of course agree about the shower head, also what works well is a pulsating toothbrush, the backside not the bristles and sometimes if you maneuver just right you can use the tub faucet
