Biggest surprise about parenthood?
Ultimately we must accept that our best efforts will not always produce the results that we dream for our children and their lives. It's a surprise, and often hard to reconcile, but as loving moms we accept the best and worse that raising children has to offer. Relief flooded through me knowing I wasn't the only person who had felt this "crazy" way--physically, mentally and emotionally.
