What I've Learned From Raising My Child

I always knew that raising a child was going to involve a lot of time and energy. Looking back to my pre-parenting days, I now realize that my naïve mindset was filled with delusions of grandeur. I assumed that my child would be bright, social, motivated, clever, productive, a leader, happy, cute, popular, caring and make great decisions. After all, I was going to be a “cool” mom and reason with my child without imposing one-way boundaries.
