It's all about the ME...in Mommie!

Hear more Spoken Word by Mommy Dearest at http://mom-me-dearest.com
I was born Cynthia Renee' Horton to Rev. Frank and Carolyn Horton (Yeah I'm a PK's kid/Missionaries kid). I was blessed with loving and supportive parents. I've been married to the one love of my life for 23 years with 3 awesome kids filling our quiver I'm blessed to have an amazing extended family that includes 2 sisters, 2 brothers and their families.
I've always been the story teller in my family. You know, the one that keeps everybody rolling at family reunions, telling old stories about everyone. I love God and others hard, enjoy caring for people to a fault and give everything I am and have to the ones I love. God is Love and when I grow up I want to be just like Him, so I aim to love. And if I miss the mark, I reload and start...all over again.
I am, a Daughter of God, Wife and Mother, Called to Write and Deliver the Word via: Scripts, Songs, Books and a Spoken Word Artist. I currently have a Reality Show in development, called "Mom-Me-Dearest...a soccer Mom, living in a Hip-Hop World" I hope you'll visit the social network/forum I launched for Mom's, Mom-Me-Dearest.com It provides a place where the focuses on the ME in mommy. The site offers Networking, Encouragement, Inspiration, and support for moms desiring to express themselves.

Tweetie Birds

Twitter me this and twitter me that...is it all just idle chit chat?

Or irrelevant facts...periodically spat...texted and stacked

In neat little lines...frozen in time...and cyber space

Lies and truth entwined and laced...together

Like "birds of a feather"...cell phone tethered

Stormy days or fair weather

We must tweet...online parakeets...perched and ready to preach

Sharpening our teeth...on every word

Now…

Will You Be My Valentine?

Will you be my Valentine

Love ME with all your heart, soul and mind

Put no god before the Divine

Love that defines

The width and dept, that can not confine

Or make the magnitude of my love for you ever decline

When our love combines

Regenerated and…

The Edited Version

There are always three sides to a story

His, hers and that of  He who deserves the glory

For clearing up the warped and blurry

Memory of the unworthy

Those who do the twisting and turning

Traveling off course and bridge burning

So much…

Check Your Rigging

Your rigging hangs loose; it cannot hold the mast firm in place or keep the sail spread out., Isaiah 33:23...you've pushed yourself beyond your limits, which has resulted in BURNOUT! Yes, the devil's aim is to keep the beloved perpetually worn out! Then he wages attacks, you're too exhausted to do anything about.

For though the weary strive to be devote...their lack of energy, impedes what they can realistically spit… Continue

What...Lord?

Teach me what I do not see, if I have done iniquity, I will do it no more, Job 34:32...I

truly was ignorant before...oblivious to what the Bible was designed

for. To Instruct, Enlighten and Rebuke...the scriptures clarify and

refute...those who deny the truth. For we often take it hard...to see

ourselves as we really are.

So Lord, if I've messed up...open my eyes up...so I may see all… Continue

Well Said!

The woman answered, I have no husband. Jesus said to her, you have

spoken truly in saying, I have no husband. For you have had five

husbands, and the man you are now living with is not your husband. In

this you have spoken truly.,
John 4:17-18

another woman's husband unduly. The Father desires a man, to marry

thee. Committee and betroth himself, king faithful to you the queen.… Continue

Tools of the Trade

My heart overflows with a goodly theme;

I address my psalm to a King

My tongue is the pen of a ready writer

Sense I expected Christ, my lyrics have gotten tighter

I metaphorically rise, a whole lot higher

With punch lines designed to spiritually inspire

The beat down, busted and tried

Yes, balled or flat

Like Mr. Goodrich, I pump em up and get em back on track

And I offer a life time warranty that keeps em eternally… Continue

Sweet Bread

Sweet Bread

Stolen waters are sweet and bread eaten in secret is pleasant., Proverbs 9:17...what

we do on the low...when those we don't want to know...aren't present.

Failing to realize God is omnipresent! Taking note of our every

indiscretion...forced to teach us valuable life lessons. Because what's

done in the dark always comes to the light...no secret ever stays

permanently out of sight. No matter… Continue

Hi, Thank you for becoming a friend of mine. It is nice to meet another writer to share the word of God and his love. Thank you for visiting my site at: www.spiritual-harmony.com I would like to read more of your writing and poetry. You can find much of my poetry at: www.webook.com under Tamara Lesley or tamm0449. You may also read 'I Am a Radio,' transmitting and receiving to your children from that site also. 'A Chosen Journey' is also on that site in full form of the novel. There are about 102 pages to read so you may not want to sit and read that much at once. They have you break it up into many paragraphs on each page.
Thank you for writing to me and inviting me to your site. Your site is beautiful.
Sincerely,
Tamara Lesley
