A Mom's Best Friend!
My name is Sherryl R. Hooks, but everyone around Ning circles call me praiZe!
I'm the Editor of an upcoming magazine for parents and parents-to-be "Quite AParent" the first bi-monthly issue will be out Sept/Oct on the web, and in print May-June '10. The focus is getting back to Bible Basics of child raising. I believe many (not all) but many will agree, that because of erroneous, well meaning misguided "experts" our children have been given a "power" that's not theirs.
We're planning an exciting approach to interacting with Parents so they may in turn, effectively and positively interact and instruct their children, and ENJOY DOING IT :)
Our upcoming issues will include: Parent Peer Pressure, What's Mom got to do with it?, Gucchi Gotcha?, Is there a Father in the House?, and many many more.
Our community website is still under development but will be available mid March.
I'm looking forward to meeting and getting to know many of the Moms and Dads here on momlogic, I've not had time at this writing to properly set up my page, but stop by and say hi, when you get the chance.

This is probably one of my most favorite romance stories of all times. Right up there with Catherine and Heathcliff.
My favorite scene is when Scarlett returns to a broken Tara, standing on the hill in the sunset; "If I have to lie, steal, cheat, or kill, as God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again."
Oh i love the whole film! I have seen and read it so many times...maybe the garden scene ("As God is my witness...") or when she first sees Rhett at Ashley's house (He looks like he knows what I look like in my knickers!), or the curtains...probab...
I love it when Scarlett is about to give birth and Prissy says "Oh, Miss Scarlett, I don't know nothin 'bout birthing no babies." Then Scarlett slaps her. This was a great scene!
