OK~ I'm at K-Mart in the check-out lane. There is one woman ahead of me and a mother/son behind me. The little boy is obviously not feeling well. I'm sitting here pondering, while waiting to receive the text message that one of my classmates from high school has passed away. She has been in the battle of her lifetime, for three whole weeks! Yes, I said that, three weeks! Three weeks ago she appeared to be healthy. Then- WHAM- the diagnosis- breast, liver, lung, and bone cancer! YIKES- the battle had begun. Well~ the past couple of days has opened my eyes, in regards to reality television and our kids. This "balloon boy" as we have came to know him as, is going to have issues for years to come.
