I have always enjoyed food preparation and presentation. So when I was 18, I decided to start my own catering business. Soon after I married a high school football coach and had three wonderful children. Then I re-entered the work force, where I was able to work my way up to being a national marketing director. I found my catering experience came in handy whether I was asked, to put together large and elaborate cocktail party for my work, a booster club party for parents of the team, or even team meals which I made on a regular basis.
No matter what the task I had at hand I always want to have a hot meal on the table for my family each night. It’s not always easy. So I developed “short cuts” to not only save time, but money as well. I was making easy, delicious, and great looking meals. My friends refer to me as a gourmet chef, however I never like cared for that title.
I have always shared my recipes with family and friends. When they make my recipes their response to me is always the same, “I can’t believe how simple that was.”
And so I want to share some of these recipes with you!
Enjoy! And have fun cooking!
