Update on the cooking. The breadstick dough is made and rising, the infused olive oil is made, the steak and potatoes are both marinating... I just realized that we need a dip for the breadstick so I will spice up some spaghetti sauce LOL

Today is a cleaning day!

Cooking Journal Entry #1 10/30/09
Ok so I am starting to keep a cooking journal of recipes I use and such. It is a written journal but I thought I would post it online and share too!!!
Tonight for dinner I made pork roast with corn on the cob and potatoes.
The pork roast ingredients were:
Pork roast (duh...)
onions
garlic pepper
cilantro
chicken broth
cooked it in the oven for 2hrs at 350degrees, it was a little dry, need to put more chicken broth next time!

Time to pick our next renovation project!
Well we finished the porch a while back but have not chosen another project yet! We did re-arrange a bit, putting the futon upstairs in what was the playroom and bringing the playroom downstairs into what was the den. Now I need to decide what to do next. Basically it is a choice between painting the bathroom downstairs or starting on the spare room upstairs to make it into a sewing room. Anyway, your post on Melly talking was so relevant to me, since my son has started putting words to objects. It's such a fun time, and I never tire of hearing him chat on in that cute little voice. I'll probably be eating my words within the next few months though!
