ChaCha is a great place to work from your computer, in your robe and slippers.
Basically the concept is: people text in questions from their cell phones (It's free for them to do) and when I'm logged into the ChaCha program, the questions will pop up one at a time on my computer screen. I read the question, scour the internet for the answer. Put the answer in the box, hit validate and send. The person who texted in the question, receives a text back from ChaCha with the answer that I provided.
They call it a search engine with a human touch. I get paid 20 cents a question. When the questions are coming back-to-back, I can pull about $7-8 an hour. Not BIG money, but I never have to leave my house, buy a special wardrobe, spend gas, etc.
ChaCha is completely free to to work for. They will never ask for a fee to work. The down side is when you are paid, they do not take any taxes out, so you may take a small hit on your income taxes once a year. They consider us "contractors" instead of employees. They have over 35,000 active Guides across the U.S.
Within the last week, they halted all new hiring. If you are still interested, I will let you know as soon as the resume hiring again.
You have a lovely family (Cute kiddos!). Hope you have a wonderful day!
