I don't know what you would call our (MIL) gap. We have the exact opposite opinion about everything. She is mean and disrespectful, and I get really happy dreaming of the day she is no longer on this earth.

THIS MOTHER-IN-LAW IS A REAL MENSCH!
This past weekend I attended a birthday party at my neighbor's house. My neighbor (Susan) introduced me to her mother-in-law, and made a comment "My mother-in-law is a real mensch". Strictly speaking, a "mensch" is a Yiddish word that means "a person of integrity and honor". A MOTHER-IN-LAW... WHAT ABOUT YOURS?
I am writing a book about mothers-in-law. My objective is to write a "how to" book for mothers-in-law, the one that they would actually read. Since the inception of my project, I have received many emails from MILs and DILs about their problems. No two are alike.
