This broke my heart to write but it has to be done...
I may not be the best mom out there but at least I try...
It's sad that I look at my now 10 month old and know that in 4 years she will not have been through the hell that my 4 year old "step"daughter has. And hopefully she will never go through it in any point of her life. I'm not saying that I am an amazing mom but at least I try and take pride in being a mother. With this my daughter already has a better chance, won't have to listen to drama and refer to people by very adult terms at the age… Continue

Carrying the Burden
I really am beginning to feel like I will shortly be carrying the entire burden of the family. I am waiting on a call from a company for when to start a night job and am still looking for another part time opportunity. I got laid off in January and just now my husband is searching for a part time job because I guess a lightbulb went off and he realizes we need more than what we are bringing in. I want another one...
So as my daughter is on the verge of her first birthday in September I keep thinking that I want another child. Badly. We are planning on having another in 4 to 5 years but I almost don't want to wait that long. Okay I don't want to there is no ALMOST.

I hate these allergies...
Since waking up today at 7AM I have not stopped completely feeling the effects of the spring allergies. At the moment my throat is scratchy and irritated, and I have been sneezing on and off all flippin day!! I love this nice clean sunny weather but these allergies are the pits!
I'm off to bed. Gonna take some tylenol and hit the hay.

Our special children need your voice your vote.
Teachers in Florida can summon a special need child to appear in court for being attacked or hit by them. Our special children are not at fault. They have no control of their emotions, their actions and their behavior.

This is an important issue that needs your attention. The law in Florida states Teachers can pursue his/her rights from an attack from a student and take legal actions regardless if the student is handicap, disable and has special needs. This law has to change. Special need children are not at fault. They have no control of their emotions, their actions and their behavior.
