Offering Thanks and Giving

I have enjoyed this year with its expansive offerings.

Not enough time, family illnesses, single handedly raising a two year old, not enough sleep, completing numerous courses, moving my residence, and just like you, so many other life changes and challenges I can’t list them all here.

I am living in appreciation for the gifts this expansion has offered. I love where I live, I am even closer to family members, I am almost done school, and even though my two year old still takes over my bed at night, he can now wash his own hands and helps me make his lunch!

Each challenge is followed closely by accomplishment which offers an experience that moves us in a new direction. Challenges appear like cloudy jewels just waiting to be polished up and appreciated.

I like to use the end of the year to recap all the challenges I have worked through and to offer thanks for the jewels brought forth from them. Also to reach out with helping hands to others who are in the midst of their own expansion.

I can’t imagine who I would be today had I not had the chance to polish all those jewels through my life, let alone the ones from last year.
