- hi shelley it;s nice to meet u too, did u have a hard time teaching your 17 yr old with special needs about her period, i've been goin over it with my 11yr old daughter lexis who has autsim, and man i am so nervous about this part of her life cuz i have no family to turn to so i am glad for moms like u
