sharon Green AYpearl.com rede How Gemstones Can Influence Your Health

Since ancient times, the Chinese have the habit of wearing jade. For the defense of the matter is not auspicious to longevity. In traditional medical treasure- the jade can be medicine to make people calm and quite. The idea here is that natural gemstone jewelry contains an abundance of not only minerals, but also a type of natural energy that comes from those minerals and other elements of the earth. The "science" behind the use… Continue

suzymicheal Children and Self Esteem.

We were asked recently whether we think children's self esteem is less robust than in the past. In fact we do think children's self esteem is perhaps more fragile than in previous generations which may seem strange given that there is now a much more child-centred approach to parenting than a generation ago and an increased awareness of how important a healthy self esteem is to so many outcomes for children. Parents receive lots of parenting advice these days and are more likely to be reading p… Continue

Dr. Naderi Know the Difference Between Open and a Closed Rhinoplasty

Nose is one of the most important parts of facial expression and if it is not in the right shape sometimes can become a source of embarrassment. Michelle Avery Weston A funny thing happened on the way to my blog...

But I'll get to that in a minute... Seriously - August? Already? I was considering titling this post "What I Did on My Summer Vacation", but that would have been a bit monumentally disingenuous. Because February, March, April, and let's face it, most of May are not technically even remotely part of Summer Vacation. Then I thought of titling this post "Mom, Interrupted." But I didn't want to frighten any of you off with scary asylum imagery a la the movie...even if Angeli… Continue

Mags Young Children with Guns Leaves Wake of Death and puts spotlight is on the Need for Gun Safety

Parents that own guns should heed gun safety warnings and secure or get rid of their weapon before a horrible accidental death happens in their family. bradi nathan The Media Sucks, Or Does It?

Jon & Kate Plus 8 has turned into an international phenomenon with nearly 4.5 million viewers this past season in the US alone. As a family they have gained much over the past few seasons: hair plugs for Jon, a tummy tuck for Kate, book deals and speaking engagements. Unfortunately for them, this was all done at the risk of losing their marriage. The Gosselin's relationship is deteriorating in the same fashion as Nick and Jessica Simpson's did on MTV's Newlyweds. Although, the Gosselins don'… Continue

robin Our First Family Vacation Part 1...

Summer is nearly here and with it comes family vacations. When my kids were little I always looked forward to these vacations. We would load up the RV and be gone for 3 to 4 weeks seeing the country. RVs work great for vacations if you have kids. I did not know this on our first family vacation so I booked a flight to Club Med. in the french west indies. We only had the girls then and they were 3, 4, and 8 years old, the perfect age for long flights and long layovers. What was I thinking!… Continue

Angie Holmes TIES program encourages positive reinforcement for children with behavior problems

CEDAR RAPIDS — After the Ellis Boulevard home they were renting flooded last June, Patty Blackwell and her family camped and stayed with relatives until they were able to move back. This disruption in their routine took its toll on the family, especially on Blackwell’s 3-year-old daughter. “She threw temper tantrums, was non-compliant,” said Blackwell, 46. “I let her walk all over me.” For the rest of this post, go to http://frumpfigContinue
