Patty Mosso I was doing some thinking tonight, about my life. And if I could have made it different some how.

I was doing some Thinking tonight, As I sit here in this quite livingroom. And I was thinking about how I may have been able to change things, So that my kids dident have to see us struggle so bad. Or how my health would not be keeping me so sick. I was wondering if something I did as a Teenager c… Continue

Joy Brown Random Musings from a mother's mind-#2

I am sitting here, trying to decide what I should talk about today. And what happens? Yup, many random things are crossing my mind. So it's anyone's guess what will make it from there to here by the time I am done. "I have tough news for you." Something NO one wants to hear in their life, something most of us do hear and most likely it will be something life changing. I heard those words over 7 years ago. I was just going through life, bitching about the things we normally do. And one day, it a… Continue

Jill Hart Living Life as a Mad Mom: Hope and Help for Angry Moms

I know firsthand was life as an angry mom is like. I spent almost two years trying to control my temper and failing miserably. It took a confrontation with someone close to me for me to really take a good, hard look in the mirror and realize that the problem was bigger than me. My anger was out of control. I had turned into someone that I didn’t recognize and my family was suffering because of it. Soon after that confrontation, my kids and I were in the doctor’s office because one of them was s… Continue

Kate ~Mom to 2 Princesses~ This broke my heart to write but it has to be done...

I may not be the best mom out there but at least I try... It's sad that I look at my now 10 month old and know that in 4 years she will not have been through the hell that my 4 year old "step"daughter has. And hopefully she will never go through it in any point of her life. I'm not saying that I am an amazing mom but at least I try and take pride in being a mother. With this my daughter already has a better chance, won't have to listen to drama and refer to people by very adult terms at the age… Continue

Kate ~Mom to 2 Princesses~ A Little Sunshine on this Rainy Day

So since I was laid off I have been trying to go back to school to get a more practical degree---I hold a degree in Journalism but it's not quite practical money wise right now. And my first 3 weeks or so on unemployment I went to a technical school and talked to their then admissions person who at first seemed very eager to help but after a week of back and forth she more than fell short when she refused to sign my section 30 which is the form needed so the state can pay for me to go back to sc… Continue

T. Suzanne Eller Dealing with gloomy loved ones during holidays: Interview with author, Elizabeth Baker
