I didn't participate in make a difference day this year. However my family and I make a difference by organizing a food drive every so often and take it to the Gospel Rescue Mission. Also, before christmas we go through the kid's toys and give the toys they don't play with to the Salvation Army. Just recently we purchased some groceries for a lady who was sitting on the side of the road with a sign,"Homeless and Hungry." Yesterday my 2 year old daughter opened my dishwasher and sat on the door. Then she grabbed a clean spatula and started rowing. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was rowing her boat and began singing row row row your boat. I'm amazed how her little mind works I love her so much.

Saturday we had a birthday party for my son who is turning 5. My husband and I bought him a bike and let him open it on his party. This afternoon my husband took Mason on a practice run. The practice run didn't go so well, Mason flew off his bike and hit the pole that supports the carport. Now he has a goose egg on his forehead it's so big we named it in honor of the pole Poley. Tomorrow I'm off to bye a helmet and get him riding again.
