I have to get glasses

Well, actually I'm kind of excited, I can't wait to see, what I'm not seeing now. I'm not blind by any means, just can't see to read things as far out as I used to. Dr. said to wear them when I'm driving or using the computer, or watching TV from far away, and I can used them when reading if I want to. My daughter's first Daisy meeting :D

OK tonight was my daughter's first Daisy(youngest form of Girl Scouts) meeting, how cute. She was SO excited, she kept telling everyone we saw this afternoon, I'm going to Girl Scouts tonight. What IS the difference between size 6 and 6x, in little girls clothes?

OK, I'm confused, what the heck is the difference exactly? Does someone know the answer to this question? I've asked numerous moms and none of us seem to know what the answer really is. Is 6x bigger? wider? longer? all of the above? The sizes don't seem different to me, if I hold up these items in the store next to each other or on top of each other, I don't see it. Why the 'x'? Does it continue into higher sizes? I guess I haven't noticed since my daughter wears a 6 currently so I haven't paid… Continue

Every day is an adventure..

Ya just never know what you're going to get. Here's the scoop. I have a 98 Toyota Camry, great running little car, we've had to have some work done here and there but overall it's been a great car. So this Jan the "check engine" light came on. Hubby took it to Autozone and they hooked it up to the computer and said there was a bad cellinoid(sp?) in the transmission. Twilight, have you read it?

I just got done reading Twilight. It's a good book, the beginning is really slow, but after it gets started it's very good. Now I'm at odds as to what to do. I'd like to see the movie, however I've heard that it's a let down, after reading the book. I really hate that. Eragon was like that, the books are AWESOME, the movie sucked. Just saw "New in Town"

What a great movie, OMG it was SO freakin' funny! I laughed so hard at one point that I had to keep from snorting or peeing my pants! This is not your typical chic-flick movie, they guys will love it too. The whole theater was LOLing the majority of the movie. A great movie for the first date, or if you've been married for years, enjoyable for all. Me and some girlfriends went and we loved it. This is definitely one that I will be buying! Why is my bed so much more comfortable than hers?

OK my baby girl is 5, and she's all of a sudden afraid of everything dark or night time. I know this is a phase because I have 3 older children. Some night she doesn't come in at all, other nights she comes in anywhere from midnight to 4 am and sleeps w/ us cause she's "scared, or had a bad dream". Honestly I don't really mind a whole lot. When you were little was everything black and white?

My son actually asked me this once. When my oldest son was about 7 (he's 14 now) we were talking about how TV's used to be black and white. So he asked me, "Mom, when you were a kids was the whole world black and white?" LOL It was really hard not to just fall down laughing, but I grinned real big and explained that, No, we were lucky enough to be able to see the whole world in color just the same as he does today. :D One of those great Mom moments.
