Well hubby called me this morn and said if I wanted to take Melly to the sitters we had the money to. So I took her to Billie's and now I get to get the upstairs clean with out my "helper". You all know how "helpful" a 21mth old can be LOL!!!

Lunch today is going to be Olive Garden knock offs! LOL! We are going to have Steak Toscano-> Grilled steak with italian spices and olive oil. I am going to make a quick infused olive oil and marinate the steak in it for a while and also drizzle it on before serving.

Ok so I am starting to keep a cooking journal of recipes I use and such. It is a written journal but I thought I would post it online and share too!!!
Tonight for dinner I made pork roast with corn on the cob and potatoes.
The pork roast ingredients were:
Pork roast (duh...)
onions
garlic pepper
cilantro
chicken broth
cooked it in the oven for 2hrs at 350degrees, it was a little dry, need to put more chicken broth next time!

Well we finished the porch a while back but have not chosen another project yet! We did re-arrange a bit, putting the futon upstairs in what was the playroom and bringing the playroom downstairs into what was the den. Now I need to decide what to do next. Well as you may remember on Sunday I was cleaning downstairs, now I have taken it upstairs.
I decided to start in Devin's room because I really need to sort thru his clothes and pull out the outgrown stuff... the boy is in a 6 now... GASP! so I really need to put those 4t pants away for Mel LOL!

330pm, break is done, I played a few rounds of a game on the pc with my feet up.. now back to work!!!
1st up is the kitchen porch!
341pm took the dishes that go in the screen house back out to the screen house, brought in the table cloth from the table out there to be washed, changed the laundry from the washer to the dryer and started it, started another load of laundry in the washer.

Whosh a mom's job is never done, James has strep and needs babying (men!) the baby has growing pains and needs to be babied! AND THE HOUSE NEEDS CLEANING...

Well it has been a crazy week here trying to get everything ready for Devin to start school on Monday. He hasn’t had his vaccines yet but he goes on the 19th and Melly gets her 18mth check up on the 21st so I will have yet another busy week! OMG I am gonna go nuts! LOL!
Melly is throwing a temper tantrum right now and James just left to go to RiteAid… he always finds a way to escape when she is crying, it is so unfair! When is it my chance to run away while she cries?????

Man I am tired this morning, I could easily go back to sleep which is unusual for me. Today I need to call Dev’s dr and make an appt for his yearly check up. I also need to call my dr and make an appt for a yearly visit.. ohh fun… NOT!

This weekend was my towns SummerFest, the theme was “Remember When…” our Tulsa station did full service gas including checking your oil and washing your windows. Our local outdoor eatery, Tasty Food, did Car Hop service with the gals wearing poodle skirts! The local barber shop did 50’s and 60’s haircuts for a discount. Well this morning started at 230am when Melly-bean thought it was time to get up and play! I finally got her back to sleep at around 445am and than hubby James got up for work at 6am and that woke me up. UGH…So far today I have:
1. Swept the laundry room floor

I am making a venison stew in the crock pot today, it has venison, zucchini, summer squash, carrots, celery, baby spinach leaves, and beets in it. For the broth I used organic veggie broth. Well it is that time of day again, lunch time LOL. I made Devin a toasted ham and cheese sandwich which he was very happy with! For James and I, I am making a steak stir fry. This week I made a calender with what we would have for lunch and dinner daily on it. Just vague ideas like Pork, Chicken, Vegitarian and such.
