Fun, Free Activity in Aurora: Storytime at the Smoky Hill Library

We moved to Aurora/Centennial around the first of the year, and my kids were on a break from year round school and home with me for five straight weeks while we were trying to unpack from our move. If I were a horse, they'd shoot me.

Oh, ladies. I am feeling pretty puny these days. Yesterday, I had the worst headache I've had - probably not in my entire life, but definitely the worst I've had in years. It was like the epidural headache I had after the girls were born. I'm almost wondering now if I experienced my first migraine. It came on about 10 in the morning and didn't stop until after I went to bed, I guess. I woke up headache free (thanks, Percoset!) and I'm just praying it doesn't come back today. Yay, I get to dress like a hooker!

Seriously, I am so sick of all the trashy Halloween costumes for women! It's hard to find a costume that doesn't show ample amounts of T & A nowadays. Yay, it's almost fall!

I love, love, LOVE this time of year. I love walking into Wal-Mart and seeing aisles of costumes, endcaps stacked with packages of candy corn, autumn floral arrangements, pumpkin-scented candles, and my favorite thing of all: those weird, individually packaged Daffy Apples.
