My favorite Mother's day was when my daughter who was living out of state at the time, showed up at my house and surprised me. I didn't know she was coming home for Mother's Day and I had not seen her for over a year.

My favorite Mother's Day Memory was 2005 when my scheduled cesarean breech baby boy came decided to come on Mother's Day, two days before his schedule. It became an emergency c and I was unconscious for most of it but I do remember little bits. The biggest memory was being wheeled out of recovery to my room and having two nurses standing by with a potted plant which they handed to me as they said, "happy mother's day." It was the first time it was said to me. I still have the plant which is in a much bigger pot now. I also saved the pot it came in. It is painted white and reads, "thanks for giving me life" and the hospital name and year on it. I love it and hope to one day give my son a clipping of that plant in the pot when he moves into his first home.

My Fav Mother's Day memory, When I handed over my Dear Dog -Lobo to my Mom ,as I turned preggy lasy year.
