When times are completely overwhelming and your find yourself weary of not being able to look in the mirror and smile with the glow of your reflection, the reflection you expect to see; do you sometimes-just for a moment wish you were someone else?
I do, and very often. I wish I was this person or that person, skinny, more muscular, larger boobs, smaller butt, perfect teeth, you know the drill. But at the end of the day when daily stress and feelings have subsided, I find I would miss myself. Have you ever thought what it would be like if the you the world has come to know was gone, your personality, everything that makes you unique and loved? It's really a sad thought.
Throughout the day, negative self talk and an abundance of images are forced into our brains at an alarming rate. Sometimes it is really hard to turn off. But bringing myself back to central ground helps me realize that I like who I am and I wouldn't change a thing; chip in my front tooth and all. I am an Authentic, Loving, Caring, Spiritual, Amazing, Creative, Blessed and Loved Woman! Who are you?
For just today, get centered and recall who you are. Think about what it is that everyone around you is so drawn to. Is it your hair, your smile, your witty personality, your sense of humor- or the aura that surrounds you? Give yourself a break and stop well wishing. Learn to accept and embrace the soul, heart and self that God created you to be. Miracles are abound, but it all starts with you. God created woman after the feminine side of his image. We are in every sense God's "Perfect Woman". Without you, just as you are, this world would be incomplete.
Woman; The Comforter, the guide, teacher and leader, nurturer and beloved.
