Hey thanks for your thoughts and support on my last post. It's true, it's a life long battle I keep fighting. I can honestly say that if it werent for my first daughter I wouldn't even be here today. But it following through, I have come to learn that bipolar and myself can coexisted despite the challenges that arise in life so, I will just keep plugging along and whomever takes a look will get to see pieces of the journey.

RK,
I'm sure that a lot of reader's have been weighing in with love and compassion...so many people are afflicted with this condition to varying degrees. I'm capable of feeling 42 different ways in the span of a single day and for me, at times, the specter of severe depression seems to hover just over my shoulder.
But as I mentioned before, the thought that I won't always feel this way has rescued me on countless occasions. Both my wife, who also deals with B-PD, and I have done a lot of work on changing the focus of our thinking at times of severe lows and this has also helped immeasurably. She uses a meditation technique, which I'm not familiar with.
Gratitude is a great anti-depressant!
Wishing you a fabulous weekend,
Rod
