I don’t like to boast or bag.
But I recently received my official dog tags.
Stamped Holy Set Apart for the Lord.
That’s how you identify
a soldier at war.
Those who want the enemy
to clearly know.
Who their fighting for.
But worldly distractions
have many missing in action.
But I won’t be captured.
I must survive until the rapture.
Regardless of the test.
I will fight to the death.
For I refuse be a prisoner of war
That’s what all the camouflage,
I wore was for.
My armor of protection.
Helped me spot the enemy
coming and going from any direction
And I never got miss lead
Cause the helmet of salvation set securely on my head.
That’s how I maneuvered undetected in the battle field.
Braving the unseen powers of darkness,
armed to kill
Silently sneaking up behind the enemy
I place my life in jeopardy
But my mission is to stab them with the word
A penetrating bayonet they’ve never feel or heard.
I’ll slice them to the core
And have no mercy cause this is war.
Plead the blood on the supernatural gore.
Be shielded by the breast plate of righteousness
and the belt of truth.
They saved me from the enemy
So I’ve shared that amo with the troops
Setting around spit shining my go in peace boots.
Stay alert and persistent in prayer
The enemy is every where
And the remains of those
Who did not wear
Depending on God tags
Went to hell in body bag
