Real, refers to reality, the state of things as they actually are. In all reality, to be authentic is to be real, actual. not fake or an imitation.they are pretty much one in the same. Genuine is a character trait, because there are those who can be genuinely mean...lol, or good or bad or anything positive or negative. Any person honest with themselves can have that trait. Being free from hypocrisy or pretense about who they are, good or bad, as a person. So I would encourage you to be free to...keep it real! What ever you honestly feel that is!


"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you are tombs that have been whitewashed, which look beautiful on the outside but inside are full of dead men's bones and everything impure. Just so, you also outwardly seem to people to be just and upright but inside you are full of pretense and lawlessness and iniquity." Matthew 23:27-28

Real is what you are at that time, i.e. she's – really funny, really mean. As long as you are genuine, you are being authentic and that is more important than being real.
