Meeting Christian Momlogic Members! MissionChik and Serena
"Have you ever heard of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma?"
I laughed out loud. It's exactly one hour from where I live.
So yesterday morning I hopped in the car and joined the women of Battlecreek "Spa for the Soul" and spoke to the larger group and then got to hang out with the smaller group that was studying The Mom I Want to Be.
More surprises. While we were sitting around the table, Desiree said, "Oh, by the way, I'm missionChik at Momlogic. I instantly knew who she was as I follow her posts. Serena spoke up. "Me, too. I'm on Momlogic."
The world got smaller.
I love how the Internet has made our friendships and our connections easier. I loved meeting new friends. I'll be traveling the next several months around the nation, speaking and in ministry. I'd love to connect with you, too, or with your study group or women's group, or maybe just go out and have a cup of hot chocolate or a delicious piece of cheesecake.
Friends. Truly, a gift.

It was so-o-o great -- one of the biggest blessings of the weekend for me. What a blessing to be able to make connections through the internet that we never would have had the chance to otherwise!

Yay! We had such a great time!!
And thanks for mentioning She Speaks, Beth! I am visiting my sister this summer three hours away from the conference location and now I plan to attend as well. It looks like a wonderful opportunity.
