OK tonight was my daughter's first Daisy(youngest form of Girl Scouts) meeting, how cute. She was SO excited, she kept telling everyone we saw this afternoon, I'm going to Girl Scouts tonight. How adorable, there are 3 other girls in here troop and they are all so cute. I started in Brownie's in second grade so I never did Daisies, I was surprised it's just so easy, but I guess they are little. They are all Kindergarteners, and they don't really have to earn badges at this point, they can just get patches for doing fun stuff. It was fun. My older boys did Boy Scouts when they were younger but got tired of it pretty quickly. I hope she sticks w/ it longer than they did. They listed to the 1st chapter in their little book, and then they each decorated a flower pot and planted Daisies in it. So cute. Of course on the way home, my daughter jumped into the van before I could finish my sentence about handing it to me before she got in. The dang plant spilled on my carpet(conversion van). I scooped as much as I could back into the pot, but now there is a BIG black soil spot on my light tan carpet, so at 7:08 in the evening we have to hunt down a carwash w/ heavy duty vacuums to get the dirt out and it's 16 degrees! Found one, and proceeded to freeze my rearend off(I wish) and luckily all the dirt came out. Whew! Well I saw that coming, just couldn't spit it out fast enough to stop her. It did make it home and has been watered, we'll shall see what happens.
