Honor the Heavenly Father
that disposed of the chest

You know…the box that held the Ten Commandments
Historians say up and vanished
A foreshadowing of what was to come
Cubism undone…Christ set into motion…religious freedom
No longer vacuum packed…into 4 sides x 6 to be exact
A safe that Christ cracked
To free us from hypocritical religious acts
The Old Testament got the axed
Now the New Covenant sheared the facts
On the hearts and minds of man
Willing to walk outside the box with Him
And ain’t worried about what people think of them
Mohawks, tattes or tim’s…sully’s, fitted or brimmed
Black or White… Asian or Latino…what ever your skin type
As long as your heart is wrapped in Christ
Your leading an unpackaged life
Willing to free fall…from the 4 walls…that has boxed up most of you’ll
Bond to the this earth…Idolizing the structure of the church
Instead of worshiping the one an only God first
Who can’t be encompassed in any space…on this entire universe
His infinity has burst…on the scene…splitting us at our religious seams
Freeing ourselves from that dark cold box
I refuse to be put in one…like who’s Jill Scott
Respect my gangster cause the word is hot
Secular or not…it’s time to roll back the rock
And live outside the box.
