See's Candies Mother's Day Giveaway!

The month of May is pure insanity in our house.

What should be a time to celebrate mothers (*ahem* May 10th) will be spent this year down in Florida on vacation, dodging Swine Flu bugs with expensive masks and gobs of hand sanitizer.

Not to mention, my husband AND my good friend both have birthdays flanking Mother’s day. And we will all be in Florida during that time.

Can you say, “Stealing my thunder?”

But it’s all good. Because I have it all figured out.

This past Easter holiday, I was introduced to the beauty of See’s Candies custom mix candy boxes (which we polished off in no time). You can fill an entire box of chocolates with precisely the candies you want. None of those, “Surprise! What the heck was that in the middle.”

I will fully admit that since then, I am sold. Hook, line and sinker.
