The poor pomegranate. This homely red fruit isn't going to win any produce beauty
contests. But don't be put off by looks -including cancer prevention- try one. They taste sweet!
I have been reading some articles lately about Cancer and Health. It seems that if we start now
changing our diets, exercising a little each day and sleeping better we can prevent Cancer.
rich in antioxidants, fruits and vegetables can reduce our risk all together. I was glad when I read this
line in one of the articles, (scientists are studying its role in fighting heart disease, cancer and other
ailments.)
Did you know that there is 25 Foods that fight Disease? I found out that Diabetes. Cancer. Migraines.
Arthritis. are the debilitating diseases that can take a major toll on your life – or cut it short.
I have Osteo Arthritis and it is very painful at times. I have been changing my diet and taking Herbs
and not pushing myself past my limit. This has helped me a lot over the past couple years. God had
showed me after I got hurt to eat better and gave me scriptures in Genesis Chapter 1.
Most people know the wrong diet can compound these conditions. But the right one can help manage,
treat and even "Stop" them. My Mom just passed away from Liver and Breast Cancer.
She had it for 10 years and never knew. She was diagnosed with cancer in July, 2008 and Passed
Away in October 2008.
We figured out that the cancer was caused from not eating enough Antioxidants
smoking and taking medication that causes cancer. She tried to eat right all her life and even took
vitamins and exercised all her life. It wasn't enough but it did keep her going.
I am sharing this information with you because if it helps even one person to stay healthy or get better
then I will be very happy. See.....some things in our life we do have control over. Its just do we want
the change to come so we can be Healthy-er people.
They always said.....You are what you eat, as the old age goes. Meaning: If you feast on unhealthy
foods, you’re likely to end up Sick. However, if you opt for nutrient-rich foods, you can achieve
overall wellness while treating common health ailments.
No wonder antioxidants are all the rage. These powerhouse nutrients protect against free radicals,
the biological bullies linked to heart disease, cancer and aging. But how much is enough?
And can you overdose on vitamins A, C, E? Do your research about how much is enough and
read books about Vitamins, herbs and how they play a big part in your life to staying Healthy!
