Viral kid videos -- funny or humiliating??
Are you an irresponsible parent if your kid becomes a YouTube viral sensation?
Used to be the only embarrassing thing our parents had on us was that naked bearskin rug snapshot tucked in a scrapbook. No one ever saw it -- except when Mom pulled it out to show one of our dates. But now, thanks to YouTube, we can humiliate our kids in front of millions and in the process turn them into Internet stars! Sure, it is tempting to try for that 15 mega-bytes of fame ... but should we?

I don't have any issues with a little girl dancing in front of the TV, but some of these videos are simply MEAN. What kind of parent would put up a video like the dentist video or the cupcake boy? What were they thinking? Is it payback for sleepless nights and diaper changes? I agree - the dentist video is probably the worst. I can't see the humor in a little boy being all drugged up. Even worse, what kind of message does that send to him and other kids about what's great fun?

and geez, if we can't have a good laugh at our kids, we'd surely cry... :)

I thought this story was so interesting... After watching that David after the dentist video-- it made me sick. Who does that to their kid?? Just awful. You're supposed to PROTECT your children... not humiliate them.
